Condo in Lenox, MA - The Berkshires

This was one of my favorite Berkshire projects. My clients requested color and comfort with creative energy flowing!
The home needed warmth, a seating layout that was conducive to conversation, and binge watching Netflix. We decided to add a game table area at one end of the living room, which could also be used for morning coffee on early Fall days.

The main floor layout consists of a large bedroom & bath for special overnight guests, and a powder room for evening gatherings.

We went with F&B paints, Scalamandre fabrics, Peter Fasano wallpaper, and custom seating, headboard, and bedding.

Brown dining room furniture, including the sideboard, was sprayed with F&B “Charlotte Locks” and the seating was recovered in coordinated fabrics, creating a unique mix of modernity and chicness.

A mix of striking paint colors, the surprising fabrics & textures, and area rugs defining the room-layout brings this home to another level of comfort and visual creativity!

The second floor guest rooms each have their own inviting color stories.

Renovation Primary Bathroom - Sheffield, MA

Primary Bathroom was completed after primary bedroom and main floor living space. We followed through with a soothing blue-green color pallete to compliment the primary bedroom. All custom cabinetry, including the barn door! Shower walls are AKDO Icelandic Blue Clear. Bathroom walls are 3x12 White Glossy tile. Floor is bone, turquoise, sage hexagon tile design. Undermounted sinks are turquoise glass. Countertops are custom Biano Statuario stone.

Home in Sheffield, MA

The client contacted me through Houzz. Initially, this home had a contemporary feel, contrary to the beautiful post and beam features of the original house. We wanted to create a country-farmhouse feel that was condusive to the original architecture. By using textured fabrics, warm wall colors, arts and craft era wallpaper, updating lighting features, and customized furniture, we were able to create a transitional New England warmth.

My clients in Massachusetts contacted me through Houzz. They envisioned a space that was condusive to entertainng large groups of friends along with their young children, as well as hosting major holidays for their family. 

My clients love blue, so we created a blue story with different textures and designs, upholstered fabrics that are child friendly and worked with our custom furniture. We then chose some more delicate fabrics for window treatments in living, dining, and sun rooms.

Our color story starts in the entry and flows through the entire first floor; from living room to open plan dining room, to a sun room that opens up onto a welcoming stone patio, pool, poolhouse, play area for the children, flower garden, and herb and vegetable gardens.

Home in Massachusetts

Fairfield House

This lovely home in Fairfield, Connecticut is a new construction. The beautiful landscape gives the interior a welcoming sense of bringing the outside in! The owners decided to begin with a clean slate and we started with wall colors, choosing a soothing, warm palette from the Farrow & Ball collection of organic paints. We then added a faux finish in an energetic red to the elegant dining room, which is complimented by the harmonious textures of the taupe and grey fabrics and a beautiful rug. The refreshing red fabrics along with the dark wood furniture in the breakfast nook balance the open space plan. Every window is an investment in timeless elegance; my passion for fabrics and trims bring luxury and casual elegance together. Mixing traditional and refined furnishings with Neo-classic and contemporary lines give the rooms an air of sophistication. To complete these timeless spaces we introduced distinctive decorative accessories, from modern furniture, to antique vases and unique pieces from local Berkshire artisans. We picked complimentary lighting and artwork to add ambiance to each room. The rugs throughout the home were carefully selected for their classic and inviting textures. The rooms flow harmoniously through the house, each indulgently presenting its own classic elegance and alluring charm! The final look represents the ideal collaboration between designer and client.

The extraordinary talents of so many designers of color. Creating a platform that would change the landscape of the Interior Design Industry, opening up the door for designers of our BIPOC communities to participate in a unique designer showhouse. Kaleidoscope Project: The Cornell Inn - Opening Night

Shippan Show House; Stamford, CT

This beautiful home is located at Shippan Point and has a Mediterranean feel architecturally, with a wonderful view of the water. The family room was a new addition added this summer by the owners. The style evokes the feel of the house especially in terms of the arched style windows that surround the entire room and reflect the incredible light throughout the day. My inspiration for this space came from a visit to a specialty spice store. I was moved by the incredibly deep rich colours of the beautifully displayed spices. And so my room evolved!

Lennox. MA: Master Bedroom Suite

A hundred-year-old Victorian house that’s spent twenty years as a bed and breakfast doesn’t turn back into a home overnight. It takes a little bit of time and a lot of love. So when a family in Berkshire County needed help renovating their early 20th century three-story Victorian house, I was ready to help them visualize the possibilities and create their own personal look.

We all want to transform our houses into homes. The design for this house was drawn from its past, designed for its present and inspired by its future.

Victorian House Renovation: Master Bedroom and Bath

Weston Showhouse: Master bedroom and Bath

As you drive down a country lane and reach a gentle fork in the road you will come upon this elegant estate located on three acres with an interior boasting some 9,000 square feel of luxury and comfort.

The combination of Georgian and regal Tuscan architecture are evident both on the exterior and interior of the residence. The quality of which is rarely matched in today's market. We created a living environment that is both functional and beautiful; one that combines classic style with recent trends.

Weston Designer Showhouse: Master Bedroom and Bath

Home in Westport, CT

At inception of the project, every wall in this home was white. We used hand painted silk wallpaper from England for the foyer, and added faux textured finishes throughout the home on walls and ceilings. Custom built-in/media center was designed for the family room. Rugs were selected for every room based on color palates. Furniture was designed to enhance each room and COM fabrics created texture and depth. Crystal chandeliers throughout complimented the ambiance to this beautiful home.
