Fairfield House

This lovely home in Fairfield, Connecticut is a new construction. The beautiful landscape gives the interior a welcoming sense of bringing the outside in! The owners decided to begin with a clean slate and we started with wall colors, choosing a soothing, warm palette from the Farrow & Ball collection of organic paints. We then added a faux finish in an energetic red to the elegant dining room, which is complimented by the harmonious textures of the taupe and grey fabrics and a beautiful rug. The refreshing red fabrics along with the dark wood furniture in the breakfast nook balance the open space plan. Every window is an investment in timeless elegance; my passion for fabrics and trims bring luxury and casual elegance together. Mixing traditional and refined furnishings with Neo-classic and contemporary lines give the rooms an air of sophistication. To complete these timeless spaces we introduced distinctive decorative accessories, from modern furniture, to antique vases and unique pieces from local Berkshire artisans. We picked complimentary lighting and artwork to add ambiance to each room. The rugs throughout the home were carefully selected for their classic and inviting textures. The rooms flow harmoniously through the house, each indulgently presenting its own classic elegance and alluring charm! The final look represents the ideal collaboration between designer and client.
